What is the world of Prophecy of the Kings about?
The Prophecy of the Kings is a fantasy realm haunted by old wars, half-buried prophecies, and the lingering threat of demons. Long ago, Drachar led the demonic hordes through the Krell Wars—a conflict now reduced to whispers, fragments, and forgotten scars. Yet a cryptic prophecy warns that Drachar's shade will rise again, and with it, the shadow of another war.

Begin with Drachar's Demons, where Drachar's ascent begins and his dreadful bargain with the demons is sealed: 100,000 souls to feed their insatiable hunger. From there, the story leaps forward into The Prophecy of the Kings trilogy—Legacy of the Eldric, Dragon Rider, and Shadow of the Demon—where an ancient prophecy stirs once more, hinting that Drachar's power may not be buried as deeply as history believes. The Omnibus Edition of the Prophecy of the Kings contains all three books in that series and is more cost effective.
Who is the main character in Drachar's Demons?
At the heart of Drachar's Demons stands Drachar himself—but opposing him are the Eldric, his own people, forced into a desperate struggle against powers they barely understand. To survive, they must learn the forbidden art of summoning demons. The risk is terrible: if the summoning falters, the demon may seize the sorcerer's soul and drag it into Hell. Among those drawn into this brutal truth is Ashona, a sorcerer whose courage is tested as the line between command and damnation grows dangerously thin.
Who is the main character in Prophecy of the Kings?
The story belongs not to one hero, but to several lives drawn together by fate. Kaplyn, a restless prince far from the throne, longs to escape the dull rituals of court and seek freedom beyond its walls. He is joined by Lars, shipwrecked and friendless on the Allund shore; Vastra, a self-professed sorcerer whose powers invite doubt and danger; and Lomar, an albino prince carrying secrets of his own. Later, Queen Catriona is forged in the heart of battle, while the sinister sorcerer Ariome threads betrayal and mystery through the tale.
What inspired this tale?
The tale grew from a lifelong love of reading, often with music in the background and imagination wandering far beyond the page. Early influences included Dune, Edgar Rice Burroughs' Martian series, The Lord of the Rings, and the works of David Gemmell. Many books followed, but those early stories left the deepest mark: vast worlds, ancient dangers, flawed heroes, and the sense that every legend hides something darker beneath the surface.
